Senior Deployment Engineer

The company is focused on the 4X strategy genre with an ambitious goal to grow it’s hit game Total Battle to become the no.1 strategy game in the world. Tasks to be solved:

• Ideate, design and operate the application deployment architecture.
• Plan, design and implement continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
• Collaborate with product and infrastructure tech leads to identify focus areas, problem points, and provide solutions
• Contribute to technical design decisions and implementation for deployment across company
• Performing operational tasks to maintain the application in working condition.
• Produce user documentation around your implemented solutions
• Improve existing monitoring systems, including monitoring dashboards, alerts, and proposing application health metrics.

• Experience with cloud providers, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with a preference for Ansible or Terraform.
• Proficiency in deployment automation systems, ideally with tools like ArgoCD, Spinnaker.
• Knowledgeable in Kubernetes (both Self-hosted and SaaS) and understanding of its operational principles.
• Experience with Docker/ContainerD.
• Experience with scripting using Bash, Python, or other common languages
• Understanding of version control management practices, such as GitFlow or trunk-based development.
• Experience in Linux administration.

A plus, but not a deal-breaker:

• Experience with SQL databases, ideally PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with monitoring systems, preferably Grafana and Victoria Metrics.
